I totally agree with you! For example, if you treat your date to coffee and your date doesn’t say a simple “thank you”, RUN. I am thrilled you mentioned this topic as this just happened to me not long ago. How sad. If he doesn’t have the courtesy to thank you for something as simple as coffee on a first date, is he expecting your checkbook on the second?
I’m not sure about your checkbook, Mirabelle, but perhaps a steak dinner? I think it’s sad that some dates missed the “Thank You” lesson in Kindergarten. Regardless of size, be it a soy latte or a steak, the gesture should be acknowledged and expressed. I’m sure in no time you’ll be dating someone that has mastered this skill!
